Neither Michelle Rodriguez, 27, nor Cynthia Watros, 37, appeared in a Kaneohe, Hawaii, courtroom Thursday (Dec. 29) for the arraignments, which stem from separate arrests for DUI on Dec. 1. Their attorneys were there to represent them. Lanson Kapau, Watros' lawyer, says his client will plead guilty to the charge on Jan. 12 and "take full responsibility" for her actions. "Basically, Cynthia realizes that she made a mistake. She's very sorry for what happened, and she wants to get this over," Kapau tells the Honolulu Star-Bulletin . Rodriguez, however, pleaded innocent to the charges through her lawyer, Steven Barta. A trial date is set for March 30. Her case is complicated by the fact that Rodriguez is on probation in Los Angeles for three other traffic offenses. She pleaded no contest last year to charges of DUI, hit and run and driving with a suspended license in exchange for the probation -- which is now in jeopardy following her arrest in Hawaii. (She's also been cited for speeding three times in Hawaii.) The L.A. city attorney's office filed a motion last week to have Rodriguez's probation revoked. A hearing on the motion is set for Jan. 24. Watros and Rodriguez, who play survivors from the tail section of Flight 815 on "Lost," were arrested about 15 minutes apart early on Dec. 1. Police said both were driving erratically on a highway near the town of Kailua. Both failed sobriety tests and were booked on DUI charges. Of course, Vermont DUI law recognizes that alcohol levels change over time, and that it may be possible (or even likely, depending upon circumstances) for someone to be below the legal limit at the time of driving, with their alcohol level continuing to rise until the later time of testing. DUII Program provides a

Milestones Family Recovery - Outpatient & DUII Services Milestones Family Recovery Outpatient Program meets 1-3 times weekly. This includes group, individual, and family sessions. During this phase of outpatient treatment, the alcoholic/addict and family member (no extra charge for family participation) will learn tools for recovery, begin working on a 12 Step Program and develop a relapse prevention plan. Upon successful completion of the intensive portion of the program, the alcoholic/addict and family member enter the Aftercare portion of the program for the remainder of the year, attending one outpatient group per week. They continue to work on recovery skills and the 12 Steps. Top Milestones Family Recovery DUII Program provides a didactic, issue-focused curriculum addressing the DUII and surrounding circumstances. A variety of people will be arrested, convicted or provided with diversion agreements and referred to DUII programs. Some will be persons who simply "made a mistake," some will be developing alcohol problems, and others will be addicted to alcohol or other drugs. The referral process will begin with an assessment by a qualified person (A.D.E.S.) designated by the court. Ongoing assessment based on ASAM criteria will continue throughout the information portion of the program. Completion and discharge will reflect the ASAM criteria. Milestones DUII program participants will attend either an information segment or a rehabilitation segment , or outpatient treatment. At the time of the intake and through the duration of the program, clients will be given referral information regarding recovery self-help groups.
